Christmas!

Well, Cambria's first Christmas has officially come and gone. Man it went quickly and she was such fun. Christmas eve Cambria and I spent at home chillaxing and having fun. Cambria was such a good girl, she was no trouble at all. She had her naps, had her feeds, and went to bed at about 9pm. Christmas morning we (Cambria, Callie, and I) were violently woken up at 830AM by Cambria's Grandparents, with a very brisk, sharp, knock on the door. We all got up, had a coffee or two, then got straight into present opening. We all got a bunch of really cool stuff. Cambria got some new outfits, a teddy bear, and Chipmunk, a Madam Alexander Doll (which she loves) and a bunch of other cool toys. Cambria also got a wicked mean bracelet from her loving parents as well as a Sleigh charm to go on it, and Santa was even nice enough to bring her a little Snowman charm to go with it (to celebrate her first white Christmas). Over all she really had a good time opening her presents, even though she didn't fully understand the concept. She had her morning nap and then about 10mins after she got up, the Leach family came over and we all had a Christmas luch/dinner, and boy was it good. Cami got Turkey, Green Beans, Potatoes, and some Stuffing. she ate it right up haha. Then soon after that she had a bottle and went for her second nap of the day, this one only lasting 30mins =(. She was fine though after she got up and thats really when all the relitives started coming over. Her great aunts, aunts, cousins, and everyone else. Cambria got to meet well over 20 reletives and she enjoyed meeting every one of them. She was so good and finally after a long fun Christmas day, Cambria went to bed at 9pm, leaving her father to enjoy visiting with some more relitives. Over all she had a great day, and even got to see her Kiwi family including Mommy, Nanna and Poppa that morning via Skype. Today, Boxing Day, Cambria enjoyed another relaxing day at home and even got to go for a walk with me and Callie to see some of the local Christmas lights on display. It sure was cold though. Tomorrow Cambria will enjoy spending the day with Grandma and her Greats while Daddy, Auntie, and Grandpa go to Dallas for the day. It should be a lot of fun for everyone.

Hope eveyone reading this had a great Christmas and a Happy New year.

You'll hear from me more as time goes on. Cambrias doing great and is currently in bed, so to all, I bid you goodnight for it is 10pm here and I am getting quite tired.

Well, yesterday Cambria and the family traveled to a place called Burkburnett to visit some relatives. over all she met quite a few. We headed up there for Cambria's cousin Pat's wedding reception. She was a very good girl all day, and it sure was a long one. We got up and left home at about 11am and got to Burkburnett at about 130pm. it was a good drive and Cambria was asleep when we got there. She got to see all her cousin's, Mike, Pat, Carly, Eli, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Stormy, Michael, and countless more. She also got to see her Aunt Carla and Uncle Mike. over all she had fun seeing everyone and playing with Eli and Elizabeth. Over all it was a good day, we got home about 11pm, and Cami was out for the count. we gave her a bottle, changed her, and put her to bed. She sleep right through and is now ready for a new day.

Shopping!

Well, over the past 3 days Cambria has enjoyed nothing much more than lots of shopping. Shes visited all the big stores her in America like Target, Wal-Mart, Kohls, and a quite large Mall in Frisco, Texas. Cambria has been very good and has enjoyed going out and about and seeing all the sites. Shes meet some new relatives like Aunt Sherry and Aunt Linda and will be meeting a lot more as time goes on. Cambria's also enjoyed some fine dining. Shes visited such restaraunts as Red Lobster and Olive Garden, had some tasty food and has enjoyed every minute of it. Last night she slept right through the night after a long day of wondering around. Soon she will be back in bed and will be ready for a new day tomorrow. Tomorrow she will be traveling to a place called Burkburnette, which is a small town in the vicinity of Witchita Falls. should be a fun day seeing relitives and seeing the sites.

Hope this finds everything well and you'll no doubt here from me some more.

Finally in Texas

Well the trip is finally over. 3 flights, one 45 mins to Auckland, one 12 hours to LAX, and last 3 hours to Dallas. Cami did really well, slept most of the time on the plane and entertained other passengers when she was not. Cambria enjoyed some eggs and sausages on the plane and got to sleep in the funniest little basinette on the trip from Auckland to LAX. We arrived last night in Dallas at 645pm and went and had dinner at a cool place called Fudruckers haha. Then we came home, showed Cambria around her new home for now. Finally about midnight, Cambria and I finally went to sleep after out long, tiring trip.  That is all for now, you shall here from me later on.
